Happy Cinco De Mayo friends! I don’t know about you guys but I am so ready for life to get back to normal! I typically do not go out to eat often. But, when I do, 98% of the time it is for Tex Mex! There is just nothing that I make at home that compares to the ooey gooey cheesy goodness of dip and that endless basket of chips. Am I right?

In some parts of our country, especially where I am, life is beginning to get back to normal, and we kind of have freedom. I thought Mexican Independence Day, or better known as Cinco De Mayo, would be a good day to celebrate a bit.

I know most of us Americans just use this day to justify drinking Copious amounts of Corona (That’s the beer, not the virus) and eating Mexican food. But why not have a sale? Since we are all still social distancing and washing our hands, a lot! Why not grab some soap, that won’t dry your skin. Leave your hands fully moisturized and soft, every time you wash them.

I will have to wait a little longer to get my chip fix. I can’t imagine anything worse than heading to a restaurant the day after restrictions are lifted, unless it’s heading to a Mexican restaurant on Cinco de Mayo the day after restrictions are lifted. Haha
